Cycle For Gambia is a 750 kilometre, 7 day, fundraising cycle ride around the island of Cyprus that will take place from 1st to 7th November 2009.

Sunil Mistry, Dave Metcalf and Lesley Christopheros are taking on this challenge to raise £60,000 for PING Charity to build a borehole and water tank in a Gambian village so that the villagers can have clean and safe water.

Nine months of rigorous training is now underway to prepare the guys for their challenge, the equivalent of cycling from London to Edinburgh.

Gambia is one of Africa's smallest countries. Nearly half of its 1.8 million population live on less than $1 per day.

Please make a donation and help Sunil, Dave and Lesley reach their target of £60,000 to bring clean water to a Gambian village and improve the lives of a whole community.
